Applebough Education are proud to be supporting an Ofsted "Good" primary school in Oldbury in their search for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated HLTA to take on a key role across EYFS to Key Stage 2, providing support and teaching across a range of subjects with a strong emphasis on good curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support lessons across EYFS to Key Stage 2 Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive, inclusive learning environment Support the delivery of the curriculum, ensuring it is engaging and meets the needs of all students Provide feedback and support to students, promoting progress and achievement Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess students’ learning and well-being The Ideal Candidate Will: Have relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 & 2 curriculum Be confident in leading and managing a classroom independently Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere Be proactive, organised, and adaptable to the varying needs of the children Be a supportive and approachable team member, with excellent communication skills Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and supporting the development of young learners Why Join Us?
