My client, a Tier One Main Contractor, is seeking an experienced and driven Sub Agent to join their existing team on a prestigious £100M infrastructure project in York. This ambitious project involves the development of essential infrastructure that will leave a lasting impact on the region.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering key aspects of the project while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Project Features:
- Construction of a new road bridge and footbridge over the East Coast Main Line.
- Delivery of 2km of single carriageway road with segregated cycle and pedestrian paths.
- Development of a rail spur to the National Railway Museum.
- Earthworks and site-wide utility works.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Health, Safety, and Environmental presentations including project inductions, toolbox talks, and team briefings.
* Manage, supervise, and mentor graduate, site, and section engineers to ensure high levels of engineering control and project records.
* Implementation of company quality control processes including the preparation and/or review of Inspection & Test Plans, with a strong knowledge of key packages such as concrete, drainage, steelwork, and brickwork.
* Preparation and monitoring of 4-weekly construction programmes; where appropriate, provide information to the project planner for programme updates.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in the Design Management Process.
- Temporary works experience.
- Understanding of current H&S legislation.
- Experience managing a team of engineers.
