What you’ll be doing:
* Working Monday to Friday on a 3-shift rotation basis (6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm, 10.00pm-6.00pm).
* Working as part of a team; requiring excellent communication and willingness to take part in problem-solving and continuous improvement exercises. Flexibility and a willingness to learn and embrace new skills are fundamental requirements of the role. Duties will include:
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely.
* Ensuring all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.
* Enforcing and promoting safety and housekeeping in your area of work.
* Reporting safety and hazard faults.
* Maintaining customer quality standards at all times, including board/paper line up, starch viscosity checks, temperature, and delamination checks.
* Responding rapidly to machine failures and breakdowns and informing relevant departments (Team leader & maintenance).
* Keeping the Shift Team Leader informed of work progress.
* Adhering to cleaning schedules and meeting the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks).
* Employing continuous improvement techniques and sharing best practices with colleagues.
* Demonstrating flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
