Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: 1. Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings. 2. Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN. 3. Support students with learning difficulties in accessing the curriculum. 4. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. 5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development. Required Qualifications: - Relevant experience working with students with SEN - Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: - Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths - Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs are desirable Experience: - Previous experience working in a school or educational setting - Experience supporting students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Knowledge of SEN best practises and strategies - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: - Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - Additional training in behaviour management or safeguarding Working Conditions: - Full-Time position with regular school hours - Work within a supportive and collaborative educational environment - Opportunity to make a positive impact on students with SEN All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
