Following significant investment and the opening of a new site, the business is seeking a Head of Sales to further develop its presence in these customer channels.
Role
As Head of Sales, you will assume direct responsibility for driving business across all customer channels, including Food Manufacturers, Foodservice, and Cash & Carry. Your role will involve building and leading a high-performing sales team. You will establish the strategic growth agenda and oversee all sales activities. In addition to managing and developing your team, you will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities aligned with the company’s growth objectives. Reporting to the CEO, you can expect a significant degree of autonomy to develop and grow the business.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience within the food industry, with exposure to business-to-business and food manufacturing customers. While experience with dairy ingredients is preferred, candidates from any food product area will be considered. You should have a proven track record in winning and developing new business, with a strategic mindset to set long-term customer plans. The ability to recruit and nurture a sales team is essential, as is a commitment to growing with a forward-thinking business.
Location - This is a hybrid working role, with the successful candidate expected to visit their London office two to three time a week
Benefits - £80,000 - £120,000, bonus, car allowance & benefits
