Head of Marketing and Communications required for the development and implementation of an educational foundations marketing strategy and plan. The Head of Marketing and Communications will also ensure that internal and external communications are authentic, timely and responsive to stakeholder needs. Sayjo Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of this historic leading education foundation, it is a permanent and employed contract. This role requires someone who has experience and of the principles of marketing, customer care and PR within the independent school’s sector. Someone with a passion for the education sector, who wants to maximize the potential and education opportunity for pupils and empower the team of employees and stakeholders. Duties will include: Strategic leadership and development of values and visions, defining and communicating with pupils, parents, stakeholders and employees. Managing key internal and external communications plans, calendar events and significant activities. Develop and implement marketing strategy and implementation plan. Authenticate internal and external communications. Manage customer journeys and stakeholder needs, whilst maximising student recruitment with the Head of Admissions, including Open Day Events. Manage a team of two Marketing Officers, ensuring their continued career development and success. Produce marketing reports, budget control, trend management, key analysis including competitors and partners. Including key third-party publications and national media profile. Plan advertising and promotional campaigns, creating content for media, targeted publications, taking creative lead for both print and digital. Brand management from development, implementation and policing of brand guidelines. Build strong partnerships with feeder schools. Lead a professional and targeted approach to continuous improvement and personal development of the Marketing team and delivery. We are looking for: Education to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience A passion and dedication to empowering pupils, parents and stakeholders in their educational paths. High level professional marketing experience within an educational marketing setting. A clear understanding of the principles of marketing customer care and PR within the independent school’s sector. A great leader who can really support the continued development of a well-established team. This role is full time and permanent offering 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday.
