Job overview
As a Trust, we’re always on the hunt for skilled staff who want to work flexibly. Our in-house bank provides cover for fluctuating workloads, staffing shortfalls or when there is need for extra support.
Whilst regular work is not guaranteed, applicants can give as much or as little availability as they wish. Please note Bank workers are asked to work 45 hours in a rolling 6 month period to maintain an active bank post.

Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our bank team. We are looking for caring individuals who have a fully flexible approach to support in line with demand, ideally you will have experience within a medical or nurse led service.
You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to adapt to working in different environments. We expect all Bank staff to be reliable, to offer flexibility and to have enthusiasm for the role.
Successful applicants must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Working for our organisation
For the Nurse Bank, it is desirable to have had a minimum of six months paid working experience as a Care Assistant / HCA either in a care home or hospital setting. A minimum of six months voluntary or unpaid care experience will also be considered. Care experience will need to be demonstrated within the application and interview.

DBS Checks
