The Opportunity
This is an exciting time to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the industry. The Project Design Engineer will play a critical role in developing and delivering large-scale heat pump and district heating systems, ensuring projects are designed to the highest standards of efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop detailed technical designs for heat pump and district heating systems.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, heat load calculations, and system modelling.
3. Work closely with project managers to ensure seamless integration of designs into live projects.
4. Support technical sales and bid teams by providing engineering expertise during proposals.
5. Prepare technical documentation, schematics, and installation specifications.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
7. Stay up to date with advancements in renewable energy technologies.
What We Are Looking For
1. Degree in engineering or a related field.
2. Experience in the design of renewable energy, HVAC, or mechanical engineering projects.
3. Strong understanding of heat pump technology and district heating systems (preferred).
4. Proficiency in CAD software and system modelling tools.
5. Ability to balance technical precision with practical, cost-effective design solutions.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
