We’re looking for a passionate, hands-on, and experienced General Manager to lead our amazing team at Fego Ascot. If you’re someone who loves people, thrives in a busy environment, and enjoys leading from the front, this could be the perfect role for you!
Fego Ascot is evolving, and with the successful launch of our Bakehouse and Grab & Go, we’re looking for a leader who can bring fresh energy, build strong relationships, and drive the team and business forward.

The Role
As General Manager, you’ll be at the heart of everything—leading, supporting, and inspiring your team while making sure the restaurant runs smoothly every day.
Your role will include:
• Being a great leader – motivating, coaching, and developing a strong, happy, and engaged team.
• Running the show – overseeing daily operations, managing rotas, stock, and costs, and making sure everything is running efficiently.
• Looking after our guests – being on the floor, creating a warm atmosphere, and ensuring every guest leaves happy.
• Driving business growth – continuing to build on the success of the Bakehouse and Grab & Go while keeping the main restaurant thriving.
• Managing key events – including big moments like Royal Ascot Week, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has at least 3 years’ experience in a restaurant management role.
• Is warm, friendly, and approachable – a real people person.
• Is hands-on and leads by example – happy to jump into service when needed.
• Can keep cool under pressure and think on their feet in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Knows how to balance running a business with creating a great team culture.
• Is super organised with great time management and problem-solving skills.
