Salary: £88.94 - £104.84 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a friendly and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school in Scunthorpe. This is a great chance to support a student who needs extra help and give them the encouragement they need to learn, grow, and feel confident in school.
About the Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support one student who has special educational needs (SEN). Your help will make a big difference in their day-to-day learning, social skills, and overall progress. You will work closely with teachers and staff to make sure the student feels safe, included, and supported.
Role Accountabilities:
* Support a student on a one-to-one basis with their learning.
* Help the teacher with lessons and classroom activities.
* Encourage the student’s personal, emotional, and academic development.
* Promote a calm and positive learning environment.
* Help manage behaviour and keep students focused.
* Work with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to meet the student’s needs.
Role Requirements:
* Experience supporting children with special needs is ideal.
* A kind and patient attitude, with a real interest in education.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
* Flexible and able to adjust to different learning styles.
* A full CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
