What it's like to work here
You'll be part of a small team based at Chartwell although you will also be required to work at the other sites, Emmetts Garden and Quebec House, which form part of our portfolio. As you will be working alongside many other departments on a daily basis this is a great role for forming relationships across the wider team.
What you'll be doing
The National Trust is a busy organisation that has a lot going on at all times - you can guarantee that no day is the same so you’ll have to love variety.
Your role will entail many different activities with the focus on:
1. Manning the main office at Chartwell and responding to all incoming phone calls and e-mails.
2. Undertaking all financial duties across the portfolio, including banking all funds taken from our commercial outlets and emptying both the car park machines and donation boxes.
3. Group Bookings
4. Many other administrative duties including financial reporting, producing invoices and ordering supplies.
Who we're looking for
5. Relevant experience in a Business Support environment; along with facilities or office supervision responsibility
6. Good written and verbal communication skills
7. Great team player
8. Flexible and customer -focussed with strong customer service skills
9. Able to multi-task and prioritise own workload
10. Well organised and attention to detail
11. Advanced IT Skills
