The Role: My client is seeking a New Business Development professional to join a growing team within a newly established division focused on delivering specialist products and services to the legal and accountancy sectors. This is a full-time position where the main goal is to create business opportunities for the Director of IT and stay involved throughout the entire sales cycle until deals are closed. Responsibilities include attending industry events to promote brand awareness, engaging with potential clients to build relationships, and following up on leads to generate business opportunities. Cold calling is an essential part of this role, with data provided as well as the opportunity to build additional contacts through various channels. The role also involves collaborating closely with the Marketing team to develop email content and website materials, showcasing new products, services, and partnerships as they are introduced. The Candidate: My client would highly value a candidate with knowledge of the legal and accountancy sectors, as their focus is on delivering specialist solutions tailored to meet these industries' unique needs. This insight helps them understand clients’ business requirements and deliver technology that supports efficient and secure operations. Familiarity with IT and Telephony is also beneficial, as a genuine understanding and passion for the products and services discussed with clients is key to their approach. Full training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is knowledgeable about the company’s current product and service range. Given the emphasis on Cyber Security, an understanding of cybersecurity solutions would be an asset, though additional training will be offered.
