Whether you have experience in complex care or are eager to learn, we want to hear from you By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young girl in Darlington. In addition to delivering essential care for our service user, your role will also encompass in sharing lots of fun and laughter. Our service user is home-schooled, and in addition to providing essential care during the day, you will also support her development and learning. She loves being outdoors when the weather permits and enjoys a variety of activities, including sensory play, painting, baking, and crafting. She also loves jelly baths, sand play, clay modelling and playing with slime. It would be great if you can get involved in the activities she enjoys. This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on a young person's life. Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team. Pay Rates: £13.00-£15.50 per hour Approx. £156.00-£186.00 (per 12-hour day shift) Shifts Available: Part Time Days 16 Hours Per Week Shifts between 7:00am – 9:00pm Essential Experience: 3 months previous care experience Medication administration Personal care Moving and handling Exposure/understanding of clinical care interventions Due to the nature of our vacancies, service users have the right to request either female or male staff.
