Location: Stirling Inclusion Support Service Chartershall Fairhill Road Whins of Milton Stirling, FK7 0LL
Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners, and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offer a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma-informed, rights-based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions, and achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a permanent PE teacher with the ability to work across the three bases and with different ages of young people. They should be passionate about inclusion and equity, and have the ability to deliver flexible and engaging personalized learning experiences.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
It is Stirling Council’s policy to ask that you pay for this if you are on point 4 or above of the main-grade teachers scale.
If you’ve got the right skills for the job, we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief, or race.
