Senior National Account Manager – Premium Retail - Remote Contract
INTRO:

Our client has a legacy of providing the high-quality products food products made from the finest ingredients into European and UK retail. So much so more than likely you have had one of their products before.
OVERVIEW:
This role is going to be challenging as well as extremely rewarding. They are an extremely professional operation with strong supply routes internationally and specifically and importantly the UK. The individual will need not only to be a first-rate commercial manager who understands brands but also someone who has the ability to push ahead with new customers and build new business.
As a result, they are being quite specific in whom they are looking for, first class commercial management skills are taken as read, but they want energy, they want enthusiasm and they want someone who is knowledgeable and can deal not only with day to day account management issues with existing customers but someone who can spot other opportunities with new customers and develop the strategy to engage with these further.
PERSON SPEC:
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience within FMCG, specifically food, can learn and read the market fast, and problem-solve at speed, you will need to think laterally, and make rational decisions quickly, communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to push through business and bring results.
It’s important the incoming incumbent understands and appreciates the endeavour with this brand-new product comes with a tremendous amount of whitespace, but we need someone resourceful, who is self-motivated and thrives on a challenge.
The successful candidate will hold themselves to the values that underpin the business and can both integrate and add value to the European team. They will lead change and be a figurehead that defines success for other individuals across the business.
Authenticity will be at the core of this individual, coupled with an incredible desire to succeed and genuine nature to support the overall development of their new team will be key.
