Role: Senior Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
Salary: Dependant on Experience
Located: Tees Valley and North Yorkshire

The main operational area would be, but not limited to: North Yorkshire, South Durham, Harrogate, Ripon, York, and the Tees Valley.

Role Responsibilities:
1. The repair and maintenance of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems including working on Cold Rooms, Chiller Cabinets, and Display Cabinets, Split A/C, AHU, VRV Systems, and Water Chillers.
2. Identifying and rectifying faults.
3. Providing technical information and advice to customers.
4. You will be part of the Engineering Standby Rota.
The successful candidate:
1. 8+ years’ experience, with a strong bias towards Refrigeration.
2. Can-do attitude, highly motivated and productive individual who is always willing to lead from the front, exacting the highest engineering standards to complete the task and giving the very best customer service.
3. Effective communicator with good organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly.
4. Proven expertise in fault investigation and rectification.
5. Experienced in maintaining and servicing a wide range of HVAC/refrigeration systems.
6. Reliable, resourceful, able to work well within a team but equally motivated when working as an individual.
7. City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or similar.
8. Mechanical and Electrical Skills.
9. ECTIB Safety Passport.
10. Sound knowledge of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
11. Clean driving licence.
12. Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
13. References to be provided.
14. Ability to support less experienced engineers over the phone or in person.
15. Ability to support apprentices who are new to the industry and require hands-on experience for their coursework.
16. Have a flexible approach to allow the client to provide the right service to the customer as their needs arise to get the job done.
