We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Female Remand Prison located in Falfield, Gloucester. The prison houses around 360 patients who are waiting to be sentenced. Based in a rural location, own transport is essential.
Hours
The site offers service hours as follows: you will work Monday - Sunday, 37.5 hours per week covering various shift patterns.
* 3 shifts between Monday - Sunday at 12.5 hours a day
Salary
This position is full time, and you'll receive an annual salary of up to £31.84 an hour - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, and assess patients
* Undertake reception screening
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse-led clinics to your patient group while being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
