We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Supervisor to help lead our front of house team at the Boot. The ideal candidate will possess strong team management skills and a background in the pub and restaurant industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising food service, ensuring high standards of service, and fostering a positive working environment. The Senior Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
* Ensure smooth running of all bar operations in the absence of the FOH Manager or General Manager.
* Contribute to the continued development of the food service.
* ?Ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures as outlined in the standards of procedures manual.
* Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner.
* Assist with deliveries and ordering where required
* Ensure bar area is prepared for set up in advance of each shift and in accordance with relevant standards of procedure.
* Ensure that all staff arrive to work on time and in correct uniform.
* ?Develop, train and coach bar staff to the standards required.
* If on shift and in the absence of the Front of House Manager or General Manager to ensure the opening/closing of the Pub is completed to the standards required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant and pub sector.
* Strong knowledge of food service and restaurant operations.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Cellar management experience a plus
