ICT Technician Salary Scale 4 – Scale 5 Dependent on Experience (DOE), £25,584 - £30,060 per annum. 37 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday-Thursday, 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). Hanley and Upton Educational Trust (HUET) is looking to recruit a full time all year-round ICT Technician to assist with the maintenance of the HUET ICT Network and equipment. The role will support the IT Systems Manager in delivering technical support to all users in the four schools, and assist in both maintenance of existing equipment and installation of new hardware and software across the network. The role will also involve supporting and providing the application and development of IT technology within an educational environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly team whose work is greatly valued across the HUET. The start date is flexible, and will be confirmed with the successful candidate. The successful candidate will have a qualification or experience relevant to the role, experience in a customer service role, have strong technical skills including Microsoft products and experience of computer networks installation and maintenance. The post will be primarily based at Hanley Castle High School but will occasionally include travel to, and work within, the different school locations within the area (Hanley Swan Primary, Kempsey Primary and Welland Primary).
