You’ll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning visitor and staff areas, as well as our on-site accommodation. What it's like to work here: The Housekeeping department is made up of a dedicated and exceptional group of Supervisors and Part-Time Assistants. You’ll report into the Head of Housekeeping, but it is expected that you’ll work independently to a high standard. What you'll be doing: You’ll be allocated areas of Waddesdon to clean, as directed by the Head of Housekeeping. Throughout the day, you’ll continuously check public areas to ensure that floors are clean, soap dispensers are topped up, and toilet roll and paper towels are always available. You’ll ensure that the presentation of Waddesdon is at the highest standard, and report any maintenance or security issues to the Head of Housekeeping. You’ll present a friendly and welcoming manner to all visitors during the course of the day. It is important that you are able to assist visitors with good general knowledge of the property and provide suggestions and directions as required. Similarly, you’ll develop excellent working relationships with all departments and ensure that communications are efficient and friendly. From time to time there will be a need to work during evening events on both the public and private side of the Estate.
