Regulatory Reporting Accountant £60000 - £80000 (Dependant on Experience) benefits bonus Central London – Hybrid working Model The London banking business of an international banking group which operates within a collegiate environment has a role for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant. The bank provides a wide service for its private banking and corporate clients offering retail, private banking, corporate lending,treasury, trade finance and both residential and commercial property lending. The role will be within their small finance team working within a collegiate environment. The role will oversee the day-to-day activities of the regulatory reporting function. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Strong regulatory reporting experience in UK banking, including capital, liquidity, COREP reporting, PRA as well as understanding of ILAAP, ICAAP, CRR, CRD and BIPRU and GENPRU Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar financial services role. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability prioritise work Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving. THE ROLE Prepare and submit all required regulatory returns (PRA, EBA, BOE) accurately and to deadlines. Assist in the production for ILAAP, ICAAP, and Pillar 3 disclosures. Manage the submission process of returns using the regulatory reporting software, Analyse and apply regulatory rules / guidance, assessing their impact on reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations governing regulatory and financial reporting. Drive ongoing improvements in systems, processes, and controls, working closely with the IT department Collaborate with key business areas across the bank including management, front business facing areas and back office and support functions Assist internal and external auditors in provision of information for year-end reporting and other needs. Provide cover for other team members. Assist in preparing quarterly financial reports for external stakeholders and, if required, the overseas Head Office.
