Biology Academic Mentor | The Role:
Contract: January 2025 - July 2025 (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)
Position: Biology Academic Mentor
Location: Secondary School in Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per year (pro rata)
Role Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Biology Academic Mentor | Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group tutoring to students across Key Stage 3 & 4
Support students in building their Biology knowledge and boosting their confidence
Assist classroom teachers with differentiated learning activities
Help students prepare for GCSE exams and assessments
Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best results
Biology Academic Mentor | Personal Specification:
A strong academic background in Biology (A-Level, degree, or equivalent)
Previous tutoring experience is desirable, but not essential
Excellent communication skills with a passion for working with young people
Enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive
Able to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
Prior experience in a school or educational setting is a bonus
