Our client is a stunning Good rated elderly care home registered for nursing.
You will use your leadership skills to ensure their residents receive the quality care they are known for.
You will be a hands-on clinical leader who creates a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of mental and physical needs. You’ll use your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions, from assessing the needs of a new resident to implementing safeguarding policies and administering medicines in line with NMC regulations. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you’ll support and mentor your team to ensure they have the clinical training they need to deliver the highest standards of nursing.
You will have the freedom and autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for what you do.
You will be/have:
1. A Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration.
2. Experience of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments.
3. Up-to-date knowledge on the most recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks including DoLs and MCA.
4. A natural leader and problem solver who has worked with older people and acted as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
5. Dedicated, ambitious, and resilient with a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
In return, there is a superb hourly rate of £24 per hour over a 44-hour week, working with a superb and friendly team in this well-regarded and growing care home group.
