Murray Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a well-established Chartered Accountants firm based in Lanarkshire.
This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business, providing a wide range of services and advice for businesses.
Main Duties:
Managing purchase and sales ledger
Handling VAT returns
Processing CIS returns
Conducting credit control
Managing staff expenses
Processing accounts to trial balance
Performing bank reconciliations
Dealing with customer queries
Experience and Skills Needed:
Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably within an accountants practice or the construction industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines.
Proficiency in using back-office systems such as SAGE 50, SAGE Cloud, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel and Word.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
