Telesales Specialist – Business to business
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Telesales Specialist to join their sales team. As a Telesales Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging potential business customers over the phone, promoting our products or services, and converting leads into appointments. This is available as either a full-time or part-time role, ideal for individuals seeking flexible working hours while still making a significant impact on our sales efforts.
Full support and training will be given to ensure you meet your business targets. You will be responsible for generating appointments with businesses in the local area for our sales team to go and visit.
This is an office-based role and will be based in their office in Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers with the aim of generating sales leads and promoting our products or services.
* Present our company's offerings in a compelling and professional manner, effectively communicating the value and benefits to potential customers.
* Build and maintain a strong knowledge base of our products or services to answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or objections.
* Utilize persuasive selling techniques to influence customer decision-making and secure sales.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including call logs, sales activities, and follow-up actions, in our CRM system.
* Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and performance metrics as set by the sales manager.
* Collaborate with the sales team to share insights, feedback, and best practices for continuous improvement.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements
* Previous experience in telesales, inside sales, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
* Experience of working within telecoms and IT sales essential
* Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and articulate product features and benefits.
* Persuasive and confident in making sales pitches, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
* Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in using CRM systems or other sales-related software for tracking customer interactions and managing sales pipelines.
* Good computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office and the ability to navigate online resources.
* Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection professionally.
