Job summary This Adult MSK Team has a 0.7 wte vacancy which we wish to fill with a dynamic passionate advanced physiotherapist who wishes to join our existing team of band 8's in our MSK Assessment Service. We are looking for an APP with a wide range of experience in the management and treatment of MSK Conditions. We are currently setting up a primary care ultrasound and injection service to provide patients with consultation, ultrasound and injection on the same day. Main duties of the job Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you will triage, assessment and mange including the ordering and interpreting of diagnostic tests. This will include key communication skills in presenting cases in the well established MDT meetings. Your application should demonstrate evidence of your advanced skills including assessment, investigations, making referrals, injection therapy or ultrasonography. SCAS has close ties with the MSK physiotherapy Service and you will be instrumental in providing teaching, supervision and support to our large physiotherapy staff. There are also close links with the Enfield Pain Service.Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you will be key in fostering productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local GP's, and provide support and training to other clinical staff and students.
