Your new role The EMEA Service Delivery Manager leads and manages IT Service Delivery and Operations at a tactical level for all business domains and sites within the EMEA region. This position is responsible for managing a team that delivers day-to-day operational support and end-to-end management of minor enhancements, working with IT service teams and related resources. The services include applications, hosting, end-user computing, network, and security services.
Key responsibilities
* Manages IT Service Delivery for the region, working with internal service teams and external service providers' resources to provide effective IT services. * Special focus on overseeing the Service Delivery Managers, Coordinators and Client Technicians to deliver to the expected service-demand within the region. * Partners with the IT Business Relationship Management team to deliver value to the business through the IT operating model. * Aligns regional IT Infrastructure Service Delivery to the company's common standards and processes. * Develops positive relationships across IT, suppliers, and businesses to ensure effective and aligned IT services. * Works collaboratively across Infrastructure Services, Business Relationship Managers, and Finance to communicate allocations, local funding requirements and establish / manage the regional Service Delivery Infrastructure budget. * Oversee incident management at a regional and site level to provide status communication to IT and business leadership, conduct root cause analysis, and develop follow-up actions. * Manage and deliver new capabilities at the region and site level to align IT to meet business needs while aligning to global standards and best practices. * Manage business escalations to resolve IT operational issues impacting business operations. * Provide reporting on top issues and prioritise IT services work at the region and site levels. * Coordinate processes for the delivery and management of IT services, including PR/PO creation, appropriation request approvals, invoice review and approval, and invoice payment performance. * Analyse and manage service delivery effectiveness through relevant regional metrics, scorecards and improvement actions. * Oversee regional level requirements to eliminate trailing costs for infrastructure services impacted by site divestitures and wind downs. * Align relevant IT services with the needs of the business and work to continuously improve the quality and cost of services delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience. * 7 years+ experience of IT Service Delivery in a large organisation. * Extensive experience in the field of IT service organisations (ITIL) and project delivery frameworks. * Knowledge and experience with IT controls and governance. * Ability to prioritise multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities. * Ability to understand and implement new technologies and solutions in large organisations. * Strong understanding of all IT disciplines and interdependencies. * Strong leadership skills with intercultural teams. * Strong IT strategy and architectural experience. * People Skills - in hiring, training, developing, and retaining IT teams.
