A ‘good’ primary school with ‘outstanding’ behaviour in Middlesbrough is looking to appoint a creative year 1 teacher to join their growing Primary School. The school has recently implemented a new marking policy which has been effective in supporting a healthy work-life balance.
The headteacher would like to hear from Primary Teachers that have a real passion for phonics and reading as there is a huge opportunity to work towards an English TLR in the near future.

The Primary Teacher duties will include:
* Supporting the pupils in their education through the national curriculum
* Teaching and managing the behaviour of 23 pupils
* Working with a teaching assistant to implement interventions
* Planning and delivering creative and innovative lessons
* Using formative and summative assessment
* Planning and assessing phonics following the school’s chosen program
* Promoting independence with life skills
* Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
The ideal candidate will:
* Be available for work Monday to Friday
* Hold a degree and QTS
* Have experience as a KS1 teacher (desirable not essential)
* ECTs are welcome to apply
* Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
* Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
* A full checkable work history
