With a particular emphasis on property tax, there is an ever increasing demand for our highly sought after internet based accountancy services and bespoke property tax planning and business services.
Our client portfolio covers a diverse range of business entities from sole traders, high net worth individuals, landlords, partnerships and limited companies and with a strong niche in the property sector. Having enjoyed significant levels of year-on-year growth, we now wish to recruit a well rounded individual as an Assistant Accountant to join our team offering our cloud based solutions for clients.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a forward thinking technology based firm at the start of what we believe will be a huge expansion and therefore a great opportunity for a client focused candidate.
The position will ideally appeal to someone with good accounts experience either in industry or of working within an accountancy firm. If you are an ex HMRC Revenue officer or have AAT qualifications that would be a plus. Needless to say your accounting knowledge, software and Excel skills need to be robust as well as your client facing skills.
You will receive dedicated support including in house training as well as external training. We are looking for you to develop within the role, challenge your existing skill levels and broaden your skill sets.
Reporting directly to the directors you will undertake a wide range of general accounting duties using cloud based accounting software and including:
* Tax returns for a wide range of clients
* Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Landlords and high net worth individuals.
* VAT returns
* Producing schedules of income and expenses
* Dealing with new enquiries
* Liaising directly with clients
* Tax computations
* Ad-hoc duties including tax planning
* Business development
