Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 5 (aligned with AFC) £29,970 - £36,483 per annum enhancements Hours/Contract: Part time - 22.5 hours per week (shifts Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30) Contract Type: Permanent Based: Marie Curie Newcastle Hospice Closing date: 10th November 2024 Interview date: W/C 25th November 2024 As a Marie Curie Nurse based in the Wellbeing Centre, you will provide high quality nursing care and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care needs for the patient group in an outpatient setting. You will work with the Wellbeing Centre team, using a person centred approach and evidenced based practice, to assess, plan, implement, coordinate & evaluate patient care. You will also provide emotional, psychological and spiritual support for patients and their family and / or carers and liaise with other care providers both internally and externally to Marie Curie. You will be expected to administer medication and treatment as prescribed in accordance with the NMC's and the Charity's policies and guidelines. The Wellbeing Centre offer a range of services and both 1:1 and group work with patients.
