You are capable of assessing needs, preparing care plans, and implementing them effectively with a sound knowledge of relevant legislation. What the Job Involves This role involves supporting the "moving with dignity" project aimed at transitioning double-handed care packages to single-handed care. You will conduct thorough moving and handling assessments and develop detailed risk assessment reports. Training both formal and informal carers in moving and handling practices is a key responsibility, along with providing equipment and major adaptations. The position is a 2-year fixed-term post, as part of the existing moving and handling team, to support the single-handed care project. You will manage care plans, ensure compliance with current legislation, and utilize good IT skills to enhance service delivery.
