We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Team Leader position! This role has become available as our current Team Leader is on a 3-month secondment to a Shift Management role.
While this is a fixed-term contract, there is potential for extension or even a permanent position, depending on the outcome of the secondment. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your skills and possibly secure a long-term role within our dynamic team. The role is to be based at our site in Aylesbury on our contract with Arla (Dairy). We run a large fleet with 100 vehicles and 200 drivers. This position works on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, from 6pm to 6am.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,275 per annum. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday, as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Support the Shift Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence.
* Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resources available at site and keep the customer updated.
* Ensure all processes and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
* It’s important you have exposure to working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet.
* Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a complex transport environment.
* Proven experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours.
