We are looking for a forward thinking Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team here at Medik8. You will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services to support the day-to-day operations of the business. Your focus will be on optimising procurement processes, building strong supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across all areas of the business.
This is a fixed term contract between 12-14 months (maternity cover)

In more detail your role will include:
Strategic Sourcing and Procurement:
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for key category of spend components
* Conduct competitive bidding processes, negotiate contracts, and secure favourable pricing and terms with suppliers.
* Ensure timely and efficient procurement of goods and services to support business operations.
Supplier Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
* Manage supplier performance, address issues, and drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
* Conduct regular supplier reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Procurement Process Improvement:
* Continuously review and optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimise risks.
* Implement and maintain the procurement arm of the MRP
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with procurement regulations and best practices.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Track and analyse key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, cost savings, and supplier performance.
* Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and provide insights to key stakeholders.
* Utilise data analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Stakeholder Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and engineering.
* Provide expert support and guidance to internal stakeholders on
procurement-related matters.
What can you bring to the role?
* At least 4 years experience as a Procurement Manager, ideally within beauty or the pharmaceutical industry
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build deep and long term supplier relationships.
* A track record of utilising budgeting and cost management skills to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics.
* Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to zoom out and think strategically.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
