About The Role
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to both paediatric and adult amputees in outpatient and community settings at the Specialised Ability Centre. You will be working with both new and established amputees, helping them regain mobility, independence, and confidence in their daily lives.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly skilled and specialist multidisciplinary team, where your expertise will contribute to life-changing rehabilitation outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
You must be passionate about providing a high-quality service for our patients, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and have experience of working both independently and as part of a team.
Main Duties of the Job
To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme. To be responsible for your own caseload and a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from a senior physiotherapist is available if required, clinical work is not routinely evaluated.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

* Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy
* BSc / Physiotherapy MSc
* Health Professions Council Registration
* CPD Evidence
Experience
* Previous post graduate clinical experience
* Able to demonstrate wealth of experience gained through different rotations
* Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Supervision and education of less experienced staff, and assistants
Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
* Good time management skills
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills – clinical reasoning
* Ability to work independently and independently decision make
Knowledge
* Understanding of clinical governance and its implications for practice
* Well-developed and relevant theoretical underpinning knowledge of physiotherapy

* Flexible to meet service delivery needs
* Able to travel across sites
