We are currently seeking an experienced Peripatetic Manager to support and drive improvement across multiple care homes.
An ideal candidate will be based in or around the Sheffield area, supporting homes predominantly in the Yorkshire area, with services as South as Nottingham and as West as Merseyside.
This is an exciting opportunity for a turnaround specialist with strong leadership and coaching skills to make a real impact within a growing and values-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities of a Peripatetic Manager:
* Work across multiple homes to drive improvement, implementing and leading action plans.
* Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to home managers and teams, ensuring sustainable change.
* Assess and improve care planning, medication management, and leadership structures.
* Support homes with regulatory compliance and quality standards.
* Build strong relationships with teams, empowering them to take ownership of improvement.
* Work closely with the Regional and Quality Support teams to align improvement strategies.
Peripatetic Manager Requirements:
* Proven experience with turnarounds, in the care home sector.
* Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and support teams.
* Ability to diagnose challenges, create structured action plans, and drive results.
* Knowledge of care planning systems, particularly PCS, is advantageous.
* A coaching and mentoring approach—supporting teams rather than simply “finding and fixing.”
* Ability to travel across the region, with occasional overnight stays where necessary.
Salary: £60,000 per annum.
Car allowance: £7,200 per year.
Annual leave: 28 days (including bank holidays), increasing with service.
Mileage: 23p per mile.
Contract: 40-hour contract across five days per week with flexible working.
