Our busy distribution centre in Warrington plays a vital role in our supply chain, and we're looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Auditor to join our team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Auditor to join our team. As a Quality Control Auditor, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet our strict quality standards. You'll conduct thorough inspections, identify discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting regular quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
* Inspecting products for defects, damages, and discrepancies against specifications.
* Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records.
* Identifying and reporting non-conformances and deviations from quality standards.
* Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to address quality issues.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Participating in internal audits and process reviews.
* Using databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite to record data.
* Using version control systems such as Git to track changes to documentation.
* Creating and executing unit tests for our internal data tracking systems.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a quality control or auditing role, preferably within a distribution or warehouse environment.
* Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
* Ability to interpret and apply quality control standards and procedures.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
