The Senior Mechanical Engineer's key purpose will be to lead the design and development of the propulsion system and satellites.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of next-generation structures and mechanisms.
* Rapidly design, test, and prototype (R&D) satellite subsystems.
* Perform hand calculations and FEA to develop, assess, and optimize designs.
* Conduct trade studies to optimize cost, schedule, safety, and performance.
* 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
* Exceptional skills in CAD modeling and drawing preparation.
* Solid understanding of structural analysis and failure modes of complex mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in FEM software (e.g., ANSYS) is essential.
* Experience in rapid design, testing, and prototyping (R&D) in your field.
* Strong understanding and application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
