Our Trust footprint currentlyincludes Cromer Hospital (25 miles from NNUH).The ED Consultants also provide support for aminor injury's unit in Cromer in terms of clinicaladvice, and support with protocol development.The MIU is staffed by ENPs. We have a "Command and Control" Consultantin charge of ED during the day. They coordinatethe working day and prioritise where staffingshould be placed, based on safety and demand.The on-call consultant is responsible for therunning of the department and has oversight ofclinical safety overnight when the registrar holdsthe C&C position.
