* Assigning resources precisely and effectively you'll avoid under- or over-utilisation
* Materials need to be ordered for specific stages of the project so you'll need to consider lead times, material specifications, and supplier reliability
* You'll track and manage inventory ensuring that parts and materials are available when needed
* Technical drawings, specifications, and job requirements need to fully grasped in relation to the technical aspects of the work to create realistic plans
* Mid project you'll be making changes to the overall plan without disrupting progress of the project
* Coordinating quality inspections at critical points in the process you'll flag potential risks such as supplier delays, equipment failures, or unexpected technical challenges, and build contingency plans to mitigate these risks
* Since there is no historical production data, you'll be proactive in forecasting potential problems and creating backup plans
* You'll prepare cost estimates working with the finance and engineering teams as costs will vary greatly depending on complexity, materials and production time
* Throughout the production process you'll ensure the project stays within budget, and adjust plans if necessary to control costs.
* You'll ensure your Buyer is checking that materials, components, or outsourced work are delivered on time and meet the required specifications
