Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings. This role requires proficiency in welding and the use of hand tools, as well as a solid understanding of basic math principles.
Duties
1. Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
2. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems.
3. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems.
4. Perform welding tasks as necessary to ensure secure connections between pipes.
5. Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes accurately.
6. Operate various hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
7. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
1. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in pipefitting or related fields.
2. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
3. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
4. Experience with welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
5. Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools.
6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environments.

Pay: $35.42-$42.37 per hour
