We are recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to manage the Resort Restaurants at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. This role is varied and exciting; each day will bring fresh challenges that need to be met with a positive mental attitude whilst delivering Excellent Guest Service. You will support the Senior Manager by managing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and be a natural inspiration to the team. You will drive sales, profitability, quality and service. There is also an opportunity for you to enrol in an apprenticeship, empowering you to develop and learn whilst working.

A day in the life of this role would include…
* Being confident in empowering the team to provide excellent menu knowledge and having the ability to adhere to allergen and dietary requirements where necessary
* Adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety as well as Food Safety both with the products that are served and within the working environment.
* Taking responsibility in compliance with internal and external audits.
* Leading the team to ensure the operation runs smoothly on a daily basis
* Drive PDP and employee engagement initiatives
* Identifying training needs and implementing formal training to develop the team
* Managing labour, stock and equipment ordering in conjunction with the set budget
What is required for this role?
* Have a willingness to learn
* Be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner
* Be a great communicator both with peers as well as the management team
* Be adaptable and flexible to support with business requirements
* Be approachable at all times with a positive can-do attitude
* Previous Food and Beverage or Hospitality experience
* Previous Managerial experience within the Hospitality, Retail or Leisure Sector
* Be able to maintain excellent relationships across the business and wider resort
* Previous experience managing KPI targets across People, Profit, Guests and Safety
* Minimum of Food Safety Level 2 is desired
