Based in High Wycombe
* Depending on your location you could be overseeing contracts across the home counties, Hertfordshire, Essex, London and the southeast; so, you must be happy with daily travel to your projects.
Headline of the Operations Director role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established property services contractor with their roots firmly within the social housing sector. The company has an excellent portfolio of contracts and long-term partnering frameworks across the UK with a strong contract order book. The Property Operations Director will oversee the management of contracts and their ongoing planned and refurbishment programs, analyzing delivery against targets. The role will involve collaborating with various teams within the organisation and working closely with and reporting into the overall UK Head of Operations, ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of projects under your control.
With an excellent tradition of building and maintaining social housing developments and strong partnerships across the social housing sector, working with local authorities, housing associations, and social landlords, this role will see you lead a management and delivery team for the multiple projects and frameworks under your control.
Key deliverables of the incoming Operations Director
1. Experience of overseeing planned and refurbishment works for social housing and local authorities
2. Experience of leading framework agreements for social housing and local authorities
3. Experience of delivering a wide-reaching programme of works consisting of:
1. Kitchen and Bathrooms
2. Roofing replacements and repairs
3. Cladding works
4. Windows and doors
5. M&E and heating upgrades
6. Energy efficiency upgrades
7. FRL Programmes
8. Internal works
Majority of contracts consist of a variety of properties such as high rise, low rise, and traditional build homes; so a varied delivery history of planned and refurbishment works is required.
Experience in compliance, M&E, Fire, and Asbestos would be an advantage.
