Location: Fletchers Bakery, Sheffield
Shift: 4 days on, 4 days off (12 hour shifts)

We have an opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer within our Engineering Team who would be based at our Fletchers Bakery in Sheffield, which forms part of our Northern Cluster.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Engineer’s key focus will be to carry out various planned maintenance work activities and repairs to the production plant, equipment, and buildings, while ensuring safety and reliability of the production process.
This is what you’ll actually do!
As the Reliability Engineer, you will continuously develop your knowledge and familiarity with the engineering requirements of the bakery process systems and machinery. You will work as an active part of a skilled cross-functional planned maintenance team, ensuring that correct Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out various identified general building maintenance repairs and improvements.
2. Conducting inspection processes including but not limited to: composite panel inspections, emergency lighting inspections, ACM inspections, flour sifter inspections, flour line magnet inspections, and auto lubricator inspections.
3. Proactively assisting in the management of baking trays & tins for the site.
4. Ensuring all doors, entrances & exits maintain a high degree of pest proofing at all times.
5. Participating in a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce waste.
6. Ensuring planned maintenance work is completed to strict schedules and looking for improvements that will ensure reliability of equipment.
7. Booking out all materials and parts used and fulfilling reorder levels to maintain correct stock levels.
8. Using Mainsaver CMMS to track all work activity and asset management activities.
9. Ensuring good working practices are adhered to throughout.
Ideally this is you!
* Good communication skills including familiarity with the use of Workplace.
* A thorough and detailed approach to maintenance work.
* Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
* Literate and numerate.
* Knowledge of plant maintenance work.
* Knowledge of inspection processes including completion of accurate documentation.
* Mechanical Engineering experience.
* Basic welding skills.
* Building maintenance experience.
* IPAF trained.
* FMCG experience.
