Main Purpose of the Job (Overall Objective)
To provide financial support by working closely with the business unit heads to help develop and oversee a variety of projects related to the organization's revenue, annual statements, etc. This role combines the financial oversight duties and coordination of project management. Ensure the integrity of the company’s financial systems and consistently enhance system capabilities; reduce inefficiencies through liaising between finance and IT and assist the end users to define their processes, problems, opportunities, and needs and identifying the requirements to solve them. Develop the Finance IT systems roadmap for group services and ensure that this strategic plan is aligned to Group Finance requirements.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Gathering and analyzing data, organizing reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
2. Perform the role of a ‘process architect’ on projects, in consultation with the business and IT, understanding the ‘bigger picture’, and strategic priorities which include the business and IT operating plans.
3. Drive and report on financial system compliance through identification of non-compliance and ad-hoc data integrity testing.
4. Implement control of financial systems by defining authorization profiles for SAP finance users; ensuring adherence to segregation of duty standards.
5. Report, develop, lead, and coordinate responsibilities of cross-functional teams.
6. Develop project schedules, identify milestones and deliverables, and ensure that projects are completed on time.

Required Minimum Education and Qualification:
1. CA or MBA will be advantageous.
Minimum Experience Required to do the Job:
1. Proficiency in SAP S4.
2. 4 to 5 years’ experience in Finance systems implementations (Bespoke to Enterprise).
3. Extensive experience within distribution, logistics, FMCG and/or manufacturing industries is essential.
4. High volume, high transactional, inventory management experience in semi-automated environments.
5. Sound transactional/operational experience with a strong business acumen.
6. Pharmaceutical industry experience will be advantageous.
7. Project appraisal and costing experience of 5 years within a listed/medium capitalized company.
8. Experience in training and support also desirable.
