Job overview
Our Victoria Park Grove service assists clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals to take our clients out bowling, shopping, and to the community centre. We have a variety of shifts including days, nights, and sleepovers. If you love going on bus rides, walks, and pub meals, this rewarding job could be for you.
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients to enable them to live their best life. You will be passionate about making a difference in our clients' lives, helping them to fulfill their aspirations and ambitions. This homely service is set in Leeds (LS13), and having a valid UK driving license is essential.

Main duties of the job
1. Prepare person-centred support plans with clients that reflect their views and aspirations, reviewing and amending them as necessary.
2. Support clients to fulfill their aspirations, promoting choice, arranging activities and outings, and developing their skills and knowledge.
3. Communicate in an open and transparent way with clients and other team members.
4. Provide personal care to clients in a way that respects their choices and dignity.
5. Keep appropriate, accurate records, including daily notes, with full involvement of the client.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
1. Ensure that all support and care are provided in a way that protects clients from abuse and exploitation.
2. Support quality inspection processes, cooperating with on-site inspectors.
3. Work in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
4. Carry out household duties in accordance with the needs of the client.
5. Maintain accurate written and numerical records.
6. Undertake personal care and domestic duties as required.
7. Work cooperatively as a team member.
8. Liaise and communicate effectively with carers, families, inspectors, and other external stakeholders.
