Do you feel that you would benefit from attending regular scientific lunchtime meetings to develop your skills and knowledge?
The Cytology Department is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated Medical Laboratory Assistants to join the Synnovis Cytopathology team, covering Guy’s & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals. In addition to robust non-gynae cytology services, the service maintains a well-established UKAS-accredited Andrology Service, which covers four CCGs.
The department is situated in a major teaching hospital and referral centre, processing over 10,000 non-gynae samples per year. The cytology department is currently in a dynamic state of growth, with more Fine Needle Aspiration clinics set to be established, resulting in an increase in non-gynae cases. With a well-managed on-site production facility, the andrology service currently has a daily capacity to accommodate about 25 patients and is undergoing further expansion.
