The HR Advisor will be responsible for all areas of HR for this site, developing an understanding of the requirements of key stakeholders, their challenges and business objectives, providing the support and expertise to enable them to deliver. Key Responsibilities Partnering and supporting key stakeholder groups, ensuring core HR operations are delivered and proactive HR interventions are put in place as required in line with the needs of the business Planning and delivering organisational change projects in line with business strategy Managing on site ER matters including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, TUPE, redundancy, contract harmonisation, restructuring Coaching and advising Managers on employee relation cases and general management issues Identifying the resourcing needs for the client group, working closely with the HR team and 3 rd party suppliers to ensure that plans are in place to deliver the resources required at the right time Offering proactive recruitment advice and assistance Working collaboratively with the HR Director and the HR team across the Group to ensure delivery of key activities in the annual HR cycle e.g., annual salary reviews, bonus payments, performance reviews, employee surveys, development programmes etc. Developing and promoting employee engagement and wellbeing activities Utilising appropriate management information/data to drive improvement and informed decision making. Working alongside the wider HR team to ensure that all HR processes are ISO 9001 / 27001 compliant and internal and external audits are satisfactory Plan, guide and monitor performance management processes with line managers Driving the management of pipeline talent and succession working closely with managers to ensure development plans are in place Identifying development opportunities and look at ways of up-skilling managers, coaching on HR topics and related skills Lead and/or support Group HR projects in conjunction with the team Planning and delivering training initiatives in line with the requirements of the stakeholder group Ensuring HR Operations and processes are consistently delivered and that all HR systems are updated and utilised – payroll, HRIS, LMS etc. Dealing with ad hoc employee queries Looking for opportunities to improve our HR processes, practices & people solutions Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a fast-paced environment Employee relations and change management experience Ability to build trusted relationships through a professional but personable approach Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills Passion & drive to deliver an HR service that is renowned by both internal and external clients Business acumen - understanding of how the business operates and the commercial impact of the HR strategy & initiatives Good relationship management skills - negotiation, consultancy, facilitation, influencing, presentation and communication skills Ability to coach managers including the ability to manage difficult discussions Ability to think and act strategically Resilience and the ability to deal with conflict Creative and innovative approach to problems and solutions Ability to create insights from a variety of data sources Managing change Sound judgement and problem-solving skills Operational HR knowledge Experience of implementing and driving value adding HR initiatives
