We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join our team at Kirklea, where we provide residential support for 11 males and females on the autistic spectrum, who may also have a learning disability or physical health needs.
As a Deputy Manager at Priory, you will dedicate yourself to supporting, empowering, and encouraging those we care for to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes. This role will be based on 40 hours per week, split between 20 hours in a Deputy role and 20 hours in a Senior Support Worker role.
About the Role
* Supporting with day-to-day supervision of the service, meeting general care needs and supporting our service users and colleagues alike.
* Ensuring all reports and records are compliant and maintained accurately.
* Leading by example while fostering a culture of honesty and openness.
* Acting as the main point of contact in the absence of the site manager and working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
* Promoting an innovative approach to work and a positive culture, embedding the REACH standards in everyday practice.
About You
* Previous experience in a similar role or setting, with a good understanding of the care sector.
* Ability to lead a team and develop their potential and skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience.
* Empathy, understanding, and patience.
* Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor qualification desirable, but not essential.
