The School of Health and Life Sciences are looking to appoint a number of clinical supervisors for our student dental facility. Main duties include supervising dental hygiene students whilst they are developing their clinical competence in the student dental treatment clinic and responsibility for the students’ learning in the clinical setting.
You must be registered as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Hygiene Therapist with the General Dental Council, have substantial experience of working as a Dental Hygienist and/or Dental Hygiene Therapist and of contemporary dental hygiene and/or dental hygiene therapy practice. It is essential that you have experience of supporting students in practice.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
