While this is a full-time role based on-site in Paddington, we’re happy to consider part-time applicants, with a minimum of 22 hours per week. You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team where no two days are the same. In this community-based role, you’ll work in schools and local communities, mentoring junior staff and leading a team of nurses to ensure they work safely and effectively. You’ll play a key role in increasing the uptake of vaccinations in this age group. You’ll be well-supported by a growing network of Clinical Leads from across England and the Clinical Director, ensuring you have the autonomy to manage your role while always having the support you need to excel. WHAT YOU'LL DO: The post holder will be responsible for undertaking clinical/ administrative duties relating to immunisation, primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary in community clinic settings. WHO YOU'LL BE : Registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) with a nursing or midwifery qualification. Proven experience in administering immunisations, with a strong understanding of best practice. Experience in clinical leadership. Knowledge of Cold Chain principles for the storage, handling, and administration of immunisations. Excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities. Understanding of consent principles, particularly when working with young people. Familiarity with the Routine National Immunisation Schedule. Outside of London: A full driving license and access to a vehicle required. Inside London: Desirable but not essential.
